Dr. Lauren Renner majored in Animal Sciences at The Ohio State University and graduated Honors with Research Distinction with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture. As an undergraduate student, Dr. Renner worked at the veterinary school in an oncology research laboratory and was assigned her own research project studying tumor suppressor gene expression in canine osteosarcoma. She presented this research at two forums, receiving first place at one of them. The study was published in the Journal of Veterinary Diagnostic Investigation.
Dr. Renner graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. After graduation she worked at a private practice seeing dogs, cats, and exotics. She also owned a house call practice called Your Visiting Veterinarian. In her spare time, Dr. Renner enjoys caring for her horse, tending her garden which includes fruit trees, berry bushes, vegetables, and flowers, and spending time with her family.
